Together with hairdressers we evaluated many different types of food grade starches. We learned that their film forming properties could be optimized by targeted chemical modifications. With our Amylomer products we would like to introduce to you the fruits of our efforts.

Our Amylomer Hair Care is a complete, alternative system of renewable and nature based polysaccharides for hair care applications, which is:

• liquid,
  
• of low substantivity (no build up),
  
• adaptable molecular weight for different hair qualities,
  
• answering the question of "biodegradability"
• synergistic to existing conditioners.

Amylomer are a range of polysaccharides, which is

• made of selected fractions from different starch sources to achieve specific sensory profiles for skin and hair care
  
• flexible in molecular weight and variable in cationic substitution to offer specific solutions for different hair care requirements
  
• compatible with a broad range of hair care ingredients and allows their deposition on hair or skin
